Clementina

We don't know how old Clementina is. We visit her every time we go to Uganda, and our partners bring food to her and check on her regularly. Not going to sugarcoat this: Her husband is dead, his family wants her gone. They tell her she is no more than a dead dog. They steal the food we bring her. Her tiny home is made of mud and sticks. She has no furniture, no shelves, no cupboard, no water, no electricity On her dirt floor, there is a small fire-ring where she cooks her food. She is a precious, precious woman. A furnished home built on our Naomi's House site would cost 5000 dollars.
